Treasury Associate

Solidly established Global FinTech Firm/Hedge Fund is looking for an experienced individual to join its Treasury Team in New York as an Associate. In this role, you will support the Portfolio Financing activities of the U.S. businesses. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with desks across the firm’s hedge fund, benchmark-relative, and global asset class businesses and gain exposure to various trading strategies.

We work in a hybrid model where you are in the office Tuesday through Thursday with the option of working from home on Monday and Friday.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• At least Two (2) years of Experience in a Buy-side Treasury Position or a Financing/Prime Brokerage role at an Investment Bank.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical capabilities are required, as are well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Applicants should be familiar with various financing arrangements and margining methodologies.
• Exposure to delta one products is an advantage but not an essential prerequisite.
• Keen attention to detail and a demonstrated interest in financial markets are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES OVERVIEW

You will focus on sourcing financing capacity for various asset classes, including cash prime and synthetic brokerage and stock loan management, as well as producing and disseminating color on financing markets. You will work closely with the firm’s external financing counterparties and internal trading and operations team on position-level financing optimization, market access, and liquidity management. You will also work with our dedicated Treasury Technology Teams to build tools to improve and further systematize Portfolio Financing activities.
