One of Manhattan’s most high-profile, successful dermatology practices is looking for an experienced medical practice professional to join its Team/Organization as a Practice-Office Manager. In this role you will truly be the right-hand to the doctor and handle all day-to-day functions of the practice.
This is a truly wonderful place to work. MUST have Medical Practice Experience, preferably in Dermatology.
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Three Plus (3+) years of Medical Practice Office Experience required, strong preference for Dermatology Experience.
- As needed, provide back-up for office receptionist with their duties/responsibilities.
- Schedule appointments.
- Check all patients out and bill the family accordingly (e.g., if the child is not accompanied by a parent, etc.).
- Maintain certifications for doctor and physician’s assistant as well as personal and office schedules.
- Order and maintain office supplies, contracts.
- Schedule special cleaning and repairs to include equipment for the office (both medical and non-medical).
- Process payroll for staff; and maintain 401K.
- Troubleshoot staff issues.
- Manage lists for holiday gifts, staff birthdays and whatever providers needed, etc.
- Handle PR for the office and answers emails regarding scheduling and partnerships.
- Collaborate with bookkeeper and accountant to make sure budgets are met and accounted for.
