Job Description
Solidly established Global FinTech Firm is looking for an experienced professional to join its Information Security Team as a Infrastructure Security Architect. In this role, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining the firm’s Information Security Program with a focus on AI-Security Architecture and guidance in a dynamic and engaging large-scale IT Environment.
We have a hybrid work scenario whereby employees are in the office Tuesdays through Thursdays, with the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Computer Science or Another Technical Discipline.
- At least Ten (10) years of Comparable Work Experience in a Security, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering Role is required, as well as Practical Experience Implementing Security Measures in Real-world Scenarios is required.
- Deep understanding of core security concepts, including security protocols (TLS, OIDC, FIDO2), cryptography, access control, and application security (OWASP Top 10), is required.
- An interest to continuously build domain knowledge, and a willingness to take on projects outside of one’s area of expertise, is essential.
- A Champion of Security Best Practices with a curiosity for technology and a desire to learn across a broad range of new and emerging security topics (e.g., security architecture in LLMs and AI), will excel in this role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record of bridging technical and non-technical groups, including clearly articulating complex security topics to software engineers, infrastructure teams, compliance functions, and other business units.
- Demonstrated leadership in navigating and making risk-based decisions across situations with differing levels of clarity or ambiguity, with a focus on reducing risk pragmatically while identifying innovative ways to strengthen security and enable business success.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Collaborate with a diverse range of internal groups to maintain the firm’s information security program.
- Focus on driving security initiatives within the AI space, including shaping and advancing the firm’s AI security policies, designing and promoting secure patterns for emerging AI agents, and serving as the primary advisor on AI security initiatives.
- Act as a leader within the group while serving as a trusted security liaison between Information Security and business units across the firm.
- Work with technical and non-technical business units to perform security reviews of new and existing systems.
- Design, build, and operate innovative tools to improve internal security operations.
