Are you a detail-oriented financial professional with a passion for managing complex financial portfolios? Our client is seeking a skilled individual to join their team as a Financial Management Specialist for a prominent family limited partnership.

Key Responsibilities:

Equity Ownership Management:

  • Track and manage the exact equity ownership of approximately 20 limited partners.
  • Reconcile any variances in equity and ensure accurate reporting of returns.
  • Handle distributions and facilitate investor transactions throughout the year.

Portfolio Oversight:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of individual investments, both public and private.
  • Utilize information from our investment advisory company to streamline administrative tasks.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting for all investments.

Trust and Foundation Management:

  • Oversee the books for trusts within and outside the family limited partnership.
  • Facilitate the closure of a family foundation, including tax return preparation.
  • Work with a donor-advised fund as a part of the transition.

Bill Paying Assistance:

  • Optionally assist with bill paying, with the goal of eliminating the need for an external service.
  • Leverage organizational skills to streamline financial processes.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong financial management and accounting background.
  • Experience with portfolio management and equity tracking.
  • Familiarity with trust and foundation accounting.
  • Ability to prepare tax returns for foundations is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
