Our client is an electrical industry firm dedicated to providing high-quality products and exceptional service to their customers. They are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee their entire physical operation. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, ERP systems, and facility management. They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth workflow of merchandise, managing a team of 12-15 people, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Customer Service: Address and resolve issues related to customers receiving incorrect items.
- Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of 12-15 warehouse staff, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to company policies.
- Facility Management: Maintain and manage the warehouse facility, ensuring it meets safety and operational standards.
- ERP Systems: Utilize and manage ERP systems (currently Sage, transitioning to NetSuite) for inventory and operational management.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control processes, ensuring accurate tracking and management of stock levels.
- Merchandise Workflow: Ensure efficient workflow of merchandise through the warehouse, from receiving to shipping.
- Logistics Management: Manage and coordinate 5 trucks that are on the road, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (experience with Sage and NetSuite preferred).
- Proficient in inventory management systems and practices.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed to meet operational demands.
