Top, busy, thriving Cosmetic and Medical Dermatology Practice located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side is looking for an experienced, dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Dynamic Team. The ideal candidate is passionate about cosmetics, self-motivated, adaptable, and a great team player with excellent communication skills, committed to providing high-quality patient care. Experience in Dermatology or Plastic Surgery is preferred.

Working Onsite Five (5) Days per Week; 8am-6pm (Mon-Thu) and 8am-4pm (Fri).

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing is required.
• Minimum Two (2) years of Clinical Experience (Dermatology or Plastic Surgery Experience Preferred).
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record Systems is desirable.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of the team in a fast-paced environment.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the physician in performing comprehensive skin examinations; obtain, document, and update patient medical histories and review relevant test results.
• Support the dermatologist during outpatient surgical procedures, including preparation, assisting during procedures, and post-procedure care.
• Provide clear pre-operative and post-operative instructions to patients undergoing treatment for various skin conditions.
• Assist with cosmetic and aesthetic procedures, including injectable fillers, neuromodulators (toxins), laser treatments, sclerotherapy, and PRP.
• Manage biopsy specimens and laboratory results; communicate results to patients in a timely and professional manner per physician guidance.
• Perform phlebotomy as needed for laboratory testing.
• Educate patients on proper skincare regimens, sun protection, and sunscreen use.
• Assist with skincare product recommendations and sales, ensuring patient understanding and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Adhere to all clinical, safety, and infection-control protocols.
