Job Description
Solidly established Global FinTech Firm/Hedge Fund is looking for an experienced, proactive, detail-oriented, and resourceful individual to join its Human Resources Group as a Coordinator supporting One (1) of Two (2) Areas (Campus or Recruiting). This will be for a Two (2) Year LTA-Long Term Assignment whereby a high performer in the role may be considered for full-time employment at the firm after assignment is completed.
For the Campus Area you will help execute a range of people-related initiatives to attract, engage, and develop talent, working closely with colleagues across the organization to deliver high-quality, professional programs and events. This position offers opportunities to contribute to a collaborative, dynamic environment that values initiative and creative problem solving. For the Recruiting Area you will play an active and integral role in the firm’s overall recruitment process.
We work in a hybrid model where you are in the office Tuesday through Thursday with the option of working from home on Monday and Friday.
CAMPUS AREA
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree required in any field of study.
- One to Three (1-3) years of Professional Experience is required and in roles involving Multi-tasking, Problem Solving, and Event or Project Coordination is preferred.
- Solid organizational and project management skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build relationships across a variety of groups.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment when handling confidential information.
- Adaptability, curiosity, and a collaborative approach, with an openness to taking on a variety of tasks and responsibilities.
- Client-service orientation and an interest in improving processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support many campus functions: welcome/sell days, program coordination, room bookings, travel logistics, university relations, and event execution; must be flexible, take ownership, handle invoicing, and monitor inbox for external outreach.
- High visibility, acting as a junior project manager for events at key schools
- Open to Five (5) Campus Trips per year.
- Focused on event coordination, program support, ordering swag, and invoicing not interview scheduling.
- Personality: energetic, extroverted, and approachable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for end-to-end coordination of talent-related programs, including managing logistics, scheduling, communications, and set-up for in-person and virtual events.
- Engage with a variety of stakeholder groups both inside and outside the firm to facilitate learning, connection, and engagement opportunities.
- Track participation data, maintain accurate records, collect feedback to inform improvements, and assist with efforts to enhance program design and delivery.
- Play a key role in ensuring initiatives are executed flawlessly, from planning through post-event follow-up.
RECRUITING AREA
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree required in any field of study.
- One to Two (1-2) years of Professional Experience required.
- Keen attention to detail, sound judgment, excellent project management abilities, and proficient facilitation skills are required.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to liaise with members of multiple business units, and the ability to learn quickly, are essential.
- Experience with multitasking and problem solving in a fast-paced environment is highly preferred.
- Client-service oriented individuals with an eye for improving processes and a willingness to dive into tasks both big and small, will excel in this role.
- Successful candidates will exercise the utmost discretion while handling confidential information and excel at working both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities Overview:
You will collaborate with the firm’s Recruiters and Business Stakeholders to drive the hiring process forward while ensuring a seamless all-around recruiting experience, both internally and externally. You will schedule and monitor candidate interviews, prepare reference summaries and materials for hiring meetings, maintain clean data and documentation in our project management systems, and partner with colleagues in the Human Resources Team at large on ad hoc recruiting tasks and projects.
