Solidly established Global Hedge Fund is looking for a talented Reporting Operations Analyst to join its Human Resources Analytics & Products Team. Members of this Team are curators of employee data and leverage it to help answer strategic and operational talent questions for leaders across the business. This role will focus on the technical and operational aspects of the team’s reporting infrastructure, supporting the maintenance and enhancement of key analytics tools, and there is potential to take on more advanced analytics and data science projects over time.

We work in a hybrid model where you are in the office Tuesday through Thursday with the option to work from home on Monday and Friday.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher required in a Technical, Quantitative, or Related Field.
  • One to Three (1-3) years of experience working with Python for Code Maintenance and SQL or GraphQL for Data Querying and Transformation.
  • Experience using Git and GitHub for version control, code collaboration, and code review processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operational tasks, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver high-quality analyses in a fast-paced environment; the ability to handle confidential information with discretion is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to problem solving are highly sought after.
  • Individual(s) who are eager to learn, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and aspire to take on more advanced analytics and data science projects will thrive in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Maintain and update Python packages that underpin the team’s reporting and analytics capabilities, ensuring codebases remain robust and well-documented.
  • Use Git and GitHub to manage code repositories, track changes, and facilitate collaborative development and code review processes.
  • Be responsible for updating and optimizing SQL and GraphQL queries to support evolving business needs and deliver accurate, timely data.
  • Help troubleshoot technical issues, contribute to process improvements, and support the ongoing evolution of the team’s reporting infrastructure.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to address operational and strategic questions, collaborating closely with colleagues across human capital and related teams.
