Position Summary:
Works with the Executive Director and is responsible for developing and administering the organizations strategic, fiscal, and operation and program plans. This person will manage the organizationís accountant, IT consultant, and any additional part-time support persons as needed. Office in Westchester headquarters, must travel to regional offices when necessary and travel to meetings and conferences.
       
         
 
Essential Functions:

Financial Management:
Create, track, and when called upon, present the budget forecast and current position.
Develop appropriate tracking tools and report to the Executive Director the organizations position on a monthly basis.
Responsible for fundraising, grant management and allocation of program finances.
Distribute necessary financial and operations documents to appropriate leaders for their respective areas.
Oversee and audit the officeís physical assets. Understand and manage the balance between asset procurement and budget allocations.

Leadership/Management Responsibilities:
Administer performance management program for report to employees.
Ensure appraisals are timely and reflect the true performance of the person being appraised.
Provide training opportunities where appropriate.
Provide development programs for employees to assist in their growth within the organization.

Administrative duties:
Play an active role in the development of the organizationís strategic plan. Continually look for opportunities to improve upon the plan and review with the
Executive Director twice a year the viability of the current plan.
Articulate and support the organizationís mission through networking events and out-of-office communications.
Understand the organizationís compliance with city, state, and federal laws.
Represent the organization at events the Executive Director is unable to attend.
Ensure the organization has the right resources to continually produce excellence.
Will be the first step in the acquisition process for resources for all locations.
       
         
 
Minimum Qualifications:

Education & Knowledge:
Requires a bachelorís degree minimum
Additional education in leadership and administration helpful

Work Experience:

Prepares monthly statements for 12 shopping centers using Yardi and prepares one management company statement using QuickBooks.
Reconciles monthly bank statements using Yardi and one management company monthly bank statement using QuickBooks.
Responsible for monitoring all bank accounts on a daily basis to ensure that there is adequate cash to cover checks. Reports cash position on all centers on a daily basis. Will move money between accounts on a temporary basis to cover checks drawn on accounts with inadequate cash.
Manages all petty cash.
Interacts with outside accountants to help them with questions on the monthly financial statements and for the preparation of final annual tax returns.
Prepares pro-formas for all centers on a monthly basis.
Cuts checks for all payables.
Insures that all payables are paid in a pre-arranged date.

Deals with lenders and prepares quarterly financial statements for them and files for escrow reimbursements from them.

Job Summary:
